Ask a real person

We are not scholars, and a web page can't answer every question. These services are run by trained volunteers who are happy to talk, whatever your background and whatever you believe. There is no pressure and no cost.

Visit a mosque

Most mosques welcome visitors and many hold open days. It helps to call ahead so someone can show you around. Wear modest clothing; women may be asked to cover their hair in the prayer hall, and everyone removes their shoes.
